With the flat mortar with a matching pestle, you can easily grind spices, nuts, and herbs. The rough surface in the bowl and at the end of the mallet enables a particularly efficient grinding result. Simply move the pestle in a circular motion in the bowl to crush the ground material. Harder, more granular spices, on the other hand, are best crushed by pounding movements. Thanks to the non-slip silicone on the bowl, it will stay in place even during vigorous grinding processes. Note: before using for the first time, rinse with water and, if necessary, grind the coarse salt to remove production-related abrasion.
