The pinewood furniture in our collections is FSC-certified and is treated in various ways. Sanded pine is very smooth and tidy and brushed pine is known for its characteristic grain pattern and weathered look. For an even more robust look, pine wood is band sawn. Pine is characterised by a light yellow colour and visible flame markings. The black shelves out of sight are made of chipboard (fsc) and the black back panel is made of HDF (fsc) MaintenanceThis pine furniture has been treated with a 2-component varnish, this is a combination of varnish and hardener. The furniture does not require an extra treatment. If this is desired, it is recommended to degrease the furniture, sand thoroughly with 280-grit paper and make it dust-free. After this, the desired colour or coating can be applied to the furniture. Treated pine wood is very easy to maintain. Keep the furniture regularly dust-free with a clean, dry cloth. Remove damp stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth and neutral detergent and allow the wood to dry in the air. Always use the basic protection for wood, like using a coaster under a drinking glass or hot pan. To protect hard floors, place felt glides at the bottom. It is recommended to attach the fall prevention device with great care. Colour: Umber
