A unique piece of wall art featuring a lady surrounded by floral patterns in a mackintosh style on a cold cast bronze wall plaque. This autumn leaves art deco cold cast wall décor is a gorgeous addition to the art deco living home. “Cold cast bronze” is a technique used for making sculptures, it involves blending bronze powders with a specially formulated resin to produce a material that is applied to the interior of a silicone mould. The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and bronze metal powder, the sculpture is then left to set. The finished item has the same appealing look as a bronze sculpture, a cool feel, and is weighted. All in all, a cold-cast bronze sculpture is a piece of art produced for a fraction of the cost of solid bronze but still carrying the same incredible detail and design. All of Mistana’s bronze sculptures and figures are produced this way. From bronze horse sculptures to elephants, hares to dogs all are cared for in exactly the same way. Dust your bronze sculpture with an untreated cloth or duster, and use absolutely no chemicals at all. If your sculpture is very detailed or has hard places use an artist’s paintbrush. All of Mistana cold cast bronze products are of course very fragile so be careful!
